Mario (2009)

While the size of the box had obviously changed, one thing wouldn’t: the Mario box would stay.

I may have been using the legendary Tetris as my main inspiration, but Mario is just as legendary so that’s one box design that will probably become permanent from year to year.

Alas, you can’t easily find gold coins that will fit into boxes as small as the ones I used in 2009 so I made the chocolate selection as fair as I could. There would be four eggs in these Mario mystery boxes, usually consisting of 3 Darryl Lea eggs and one Caramello.
